LakeStar Farms is the best barn venue in Northern Michigan hands down! I give it 5 stars only because six isn’t available!!

I do not know any other venue owner that will go above and beyond like Adam Dontz. Adam allowed our little team of six access to the barn a few days early so we could decorate. He coordinated all our rental equipment and then jumped in to help. If you are looking for a barn venue, LakeStar Farms is it!

The venue is beautiful and unique. The accommodations on site are amazing! I highly recommend this venue, and I hope to be a wedding coordinator at LakeStar Farms again!

You were there for me every step of the way, especially when it was pouring buckets in the morning of our wedding and I was stressing out. LakeStar is a five-star facility in every aspect – from breathtaking views to stunning architecture & amenities. Adam worked tirelessly to reschedule our daughter’s wedding reception from the original COVID shutdown, and he was so accommodating answering our questions, day or night. This was a destination wedding and Adam’s vendor recommendations made it nearly a turnkey process.

LakeStar Farms was 100% amazing! The venue’s cathedral ceilings are stunning, and we comfortably fit almost 285 guests!! As a bride, and a photographer, the venue and landscape offered a ton of great locations for pictures and video. And, Adam made the planning and our wedding day stress free. You cannot go wrong with LakeStar.

LakeStar Farms is easily one of the best Northern Michigan event venues. There are so many beautiful places for photo opportunities throughout the estate. We have so many amazing photos we will cherish forever. Lake Michigan sunts on the horizon are breathtaking. We highly recommend LakeStar for your special day.

I attended my friend’s wedding in August 2019 and this venue was breathtaking! The wide-open spaces, restored barn, and not to mention the photography opportunities! Was a gorgeous wedding and wish a venue like this was available where I live. I definitely recommend!  

Pat and I can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond in making our daughter Lauren’s wedding reception a success!! You were more than accommodating-always asking “what can I do for you, or “what do you need”. And then to work your tail off to complete that beautiful patio out the back of the barn!!
